A Short Rooftop Trip
The Jimmy Liao brand was invited to design public art for Yilan's Civic Forest Square to promote local tourism. The piece, titled "A Short Rooftop Trip," is derived from Jimmy's picture book The Starry Starry Night, and serves as a space for citizens to relax in an imaginative space with a beautiful narrative and as an extension of other Jimmy-themed art in the city such as the signboards, the Starry Train, and Jimmy Square in Yilan.
Jimmy's public artworks have attracted a lot of tourists to the region since they were first introduced to Yilan in 2013. It is hoped that this new piece in Civic Forest Square will serve a similar role, promoting further growth of local tourism.
Transportation: Take the Yilan City Tourist and get off at Yilan City Office Station.
